What the call sounds like

Six minutes at most. Here's how it goes.

  1. It says what it is

First line: it's an AI assistant from Swift Response, and the call is recorded. If you didn't ask for the call, say stop and it hangs up.

  2. You play the customer

Tell it what's wrong with the roof. A leak over the garage after last night's storm works fine.

  3. It does the intake

Name, address, a question or two. Then it offers two times. Ask if it's a robot. Ask what a roof costs. See what it does.

  4. It steps out

It drops the act and asks if you want a 20-minute walkthrough with our team. Say no and that's the end of it.

Sample transcript

Here's one run of it, written out.

This is a sample, written from the call script. It's cut short, and the caller's name is made up. Yours goes wherever you take it.

Watch what it doesn't do. It doesn't make up a price, and it never pretends to be a person.

Sample

AIHi, is this Pat? This is an AI assistant from Swift Response, and this call is recorded.

PatYeah, that's me.

AIYou asked for this call on our website. If that wasn't you, just say stop. Here's how this works. Pretend you're calling your own roofing company. Tell me what's going on with your roof.

PatOkay. Water's coming in over the garage after last night's storm.

AIOh no, I'm sorry. Is it still coming in right now?

PatNo, it stopped.

AIGotcha. Can I get your first and last name?

PatPat Miller. How much is a new roof going to run me?

AIYour shop decides what I'm allowed to say about price. Some give me a range. Some want the inspector to give the number. Want me to get someone out to look at it?

PatWait. Are you a robot?

AII am an AI. I'm built for roofing offices, so this is the kind of call I take all day. Want me to keep going with the roof?

PatSure.

AIWhat's better for someone to come out, mornings or afternoons?

PatMornings.

AII've got tomorrow at nine-thirty or Thursday at ten-fifteen. Which works better?

PatTomorrow.

AIPerfect. I'd lock that in on your calendar, and they'd get a text and an email confirming it.

AIOkay, back to you, Pat. That's what your callers would hear at 9 at night, in your company's name. Want someone from our team to show you what it'd look like for your shop? Takes 20 minutes.

What happens to your number

  • We use it for the demo call and any follow-up call you ask for. That's what the first box on the form covers.
  • The marketing box is separate, and it starts unticked.
  • Say stop on the call, or reply STOP to a text, and we stop.
  • One demo call per number every 24 hours.
  • We don't sell your number. Ever.

How yours would be different

Yours answers in your company's name, every time. It's built from your own office's calls, so it greets people your way. It knows your service area and your rules.

The demo can't book anything for real. Yours books on your real calendar.

Ready? It takes about 60 seconds.

Put your number in the form. Pick up when it rings. Play the customer.
